Hi Raymund,
I'm interested in cacao farming, but I'm not sure if cacao will thrive in our area. Our lot is located near the foot of Mt. Apo in Davao del Sur. The soil is fertile, but occasionally, the temperature gets very cold. Fogs drift by quite often, especially in the afternoon. Farmers in the area grow high value vegetables such as carrots, potatoes, and cabbage. Coffee also grows very well in our area. Do you think, cacao will grow there as well?
